Power Bars
Yield: about 20 squares
1 cup, smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup, honey
5 cups, Rice Krispies
1/2 cup, toasted sesame seeds
1/2 cup, sunflower seeds
1 cup, raisins
Combine peanut butter and honey in a large pot. Heat on low and stir until well combined. Add remaining ingredients and stir until well coated with peanut butter mixture. Pour into greased pan. Press down. When cool, cut into squares. The original recipe is from the Chamber's Recipe Book.
The power bars in the picture were made using a variation in the recipe. I substituted in some puffed wheat, added some melted dark chocolate, walnuts, dried cranberries, and substituted all-natural peanut butter. There are many other variations that you can do.
